🚗✨ Comet Mom Decal Application Instructions

For the best results, follow these steps when applying your decal:

1. Clean the Surface
Wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. Dry completely. For the best adhesion, wipe the surface with rubbing alcohol and allow it to fully dry.
Avoid applying to a hot surface or in direct sunlight.

2. Prepare the Decal
Place the decal on a flat surface and firmly rub over the entire design with a squeegee, credit card, or similar flat edge on the back side of the decal. This helps ensure the decal is securely attached to the transfer tape.

3. Position the Decal
Before removing the backing, hold the decal against the surface to determine your desired placement. Once you’re happy with the position, carefully peel the backing paper away from the decal.

4. Apply the Decal
Slowly lower the decal onto the surface, starting from one edge and working across. Use a squeegee or credit card to smooth the decal down and remove any air bubbles.

5. Remove the Transfer Tape
Slowly peel the transfer tape away from the decal at a 180° angle, leaving the design adhered to the surface. If any portion of the decal lifts, lay the transfer tape back down and rub that area again.

6. Let It Set
Allow the decal to adhere for at least 24–48 hours before washing your vehicle or exposing it to heavy moisture.

💙 Tips for a Perfect Application

• Apply when temperatures are approximately 50–90°F.
• Do not apply to dirty, waxed, or freshly detailed surfaces.
• Avoid car washes and pressure washing for 48 hours after application.
• Hand washing is recommended around the decal.
• Decals are intended for smooth, clean surfaces, such as vehicle windows.
